Why should my organisation offer Avent Childcare Vouchers to its staff?

Avent Childcare Vouchers save you money through the saving you make in Employers’ National Insurance contributions. It is a good way to help raise staff morale and motivation and gives you the ability to offer a great benefit to your working parents without adding costs to your business.

How much can my organisation save from offering Avent Childcare Vouchers?

For each parent that joins the scheme, the employer can save up to £402 per year (subject to individual circumstances) as they will not need to pay National Insurance contributions on the value of the parents' Childcare Vouchers of up to £243 per month.

How can Avent Childcare Vouchers help to retain staff?

Apart from the immediate financial benefits, offering your employees childcare support can help working parents achieve an effective work-life balance. Promoting a good place to work for parents is likely to result in better productivity and reduced staff turnover saving you money in the long run.

Do I have to pay anything to run the scheme?

Yes, but the saving your business will make by providing Avent Childcare Vouchers is significantly higher than the cost to run the scheme. You will save up to 13.8% on Employers’ National Insurance contributions on an amount up to £243 per working parent per month, which is significantly higher than our fee to administer your scheme.

How do I market the scheme to my employees?

Avent Childcare Vouchers can provide you with a variety of marketing tools to help you communicate the details of your scheme to staff working in your business.

There are many other Childcare Voucher providers out there, what is different about Avent Childcare Vouchers?

As parents ourselves, we truly care about helping other working parents to save money. We only employ friendly and caring staff and we pride ourselves on our excellent relationships with nurseries. Our administration fee is highly competitive and we also have a direct mobile telephone and a Refer a Friend scheme to help you and your employees save even more money.

My company is a very small business with only a few employees, can I still benefit from signing up with Avent Childcare Vouchers?

Of course you can! Avent Childcare Vouchers are delighted to help any company of any size save money by setting up a Childcare Voucher scheme! Just give us a call on our mobile phone: 07970 102492 and we can answer any questions that you may have.

Could offering Childcare Vouchers affect my employees' entitlement to tax credits?

Yes. Childcare costs that you pay for directly or by vouchers are not included in tax credit calculations. Reducing a working parent's cash pay may also affect their entitlement. You can find out more information on this by contacting your local Tax Office or you can visit www.hmrc.gov.uk.

Should we send the Salary Sacrifice Agreements that our employees sign to Avent Childcare Vouchers?

A copy of your salary sacrifice agreement needs to be kept in your employees personnel file but the parent also needs to send us a copy at info@aventvouchers.co.uk or by post (Manor Farmhouse, Biddestone, Chippenham, SN14 7DH). We can then use the relevant details to set up the parent on our system.
